Sophie Kopsch is a PhD student at the research institute Transitions and is part of the research team of the Evolv’EP project within she writes her thesis. Her PhD project focuses on the career paths of women in the European Parliament. For her research, she has been a visiting fellow at the University of Oxford (United Kingdom) and at Tampere University (Finland). Before coming to Belgium, Sophie studied and worked in different research projects in Germany and specialized on parliaments, candidate selection processes, political systems and electoral laws.
