The student must be able to analyse the texts presented in the course and place them in their historical and cultural context.

Content

This course is divided into two parts, one focusing on Spanish literature, the other on Italian literature (see History of Italian literature - explanation of texts). Depending on the year, different texts or extracts of texts are analysed and commented on, in order to illustrate the historical morphology of a genre, the literary production of a century or an author.
