Learning outcomes

This course aims to provide students with the philosophical references and conceptual tools they need to understand the social and political issues facing us today, with a particular focus on the relationship between economics and politics.

Content

The course is structured around three questions:

- What is the definition of economics?

- Is scientific knowledge of the economy possible?

- What is the fairest economic system?

Teaching methods

The course is delivered as a lecture, but will leave as much place as possible for exchanges and discussions with students.

Evaluations

The examen will be based on a discussion of the philosophical concepts seen in the course.
