Learning outcomes

- To observe, understand and analyse the practices of economics teachers and teacher-pupil relationships in secondary schools - To be confronted with the teaching profession in a quasi-real situation and to compare theoretical knowledge with the reality of the field: • designing teaching devices, testing them in class, evaluating and regulating them • planning, managing and evaluating learning situations • by participating in school activities hros courses - Reflecting on one's practice

Objectives

The beginner's course is carried out in the first year of the Master's degree in Economics, didactic specialisation or the Master's degree in Management Sciences, didactic specialisation. It is followed by advanced courses in the 2nd year of the Master's degree. Participatory observation placements, active teaching placements and out-of-school activities placements are an integral part of students' training

Content

The beginner's course is carried out in the first year of the Master's degree in Economics, didactic specialisation or the Master's degree in Management Sciences, didactic specialisation. It is followed by advanced courses in the 2nd year of the Master's degree. Participatory observation periods, active teaching periods and out-of-school activities periods are an integral part of student training. As the decree of 8 February 2001 indicates, they gradually place students in a situation of teaching responsibility.


Teaching methods

The beginner's course is divided as follows: - Participatory observation course: minimum 4 hours - teaching internship: minimum 8 hours - school activities outside the classroom: minimum 2 hours In addition to the internship presentation session, the student participates in a group session to analyse the internship experience.

Evaluations

The initial placement is subject to thorough feedback from the placement supervisor and a placement manager. The student writes a report as a basis for evaluation.
