Objectives

To invite the student to correctly appreciate the practice of the historian of science in helping her/him to perform a small but original research in this discipline.

Content

The student selects the question that she/he will try to answer.


Teaching methods

Apart from one short introduction in the classroom, the course consists in assisting the student during his/her research.

Evaluations

The evaluation focuses more on the research process than on the results that are to be summarized in a report (+/- fifteen pages long).
