Objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce the students to the mathematical writing's process.
Content
The first part describes the different steps to respect when writing a master thesis. It introduces different softwares for the mathematical writing and the scientific graphs. The references problem and the redaction of slides are also discussed.
The second part of the course is more individual and will help each student in the redaction of the beginning of his/her master thesis (or an individual work for another course).
Teaching methods
Some slides contain the theoretical notions. Several individual and group writing exercises are performed.
Evaluations
Written work at the end of the course. The participation to the writing exercises will also be taken into account.
