Learning outcomes
Elaborate a scientific research by explaining the objectives, consulting the bibliography and doing experimental analyses on the field/lab to provide a final report and an oral presentation.
Content
Personal work about a current research topic of the Department of Geology (paleoclimatology, biostratigraphy and micropaleontology, geochemistry, geophysics, weathering, reconstruction of paleoenvironments, hydrogeology, ...).
The students take part to a scientific research. Special attention is given to a clear geological context of the studied area, a complete references list, analyses in the lab and/or in the field and interpretation of the results.
Teaching methods
Student are followed by teachers of the Department. Final report is corrected only once. Oral presentation is required.
