Learning outcomes

This course aims to apply on the field the main concepts of Geology. Special attention is given to mineralogy and petrology of magmatic and metamorphic rocks.

Content

The following scheme is developed: geological context of the studied area, structure of the outcrop, description of the sample, thin sections, XRD. Integration of data and results within the geological evolution of the area.
