Learning outcomes

Understanding and knowledge of major asymmetric synthesis methods

Understanding and knowledge of major asymmetric catalysis methods

Understanding of the interest of sigmatropic and dyotropic reactions

Understanding of non-linear effects, chiral amplification and autocatalysis, their mechanistic implications and their importance in the contect of homochirality

 

Objectives

The aim of the course  is to give advanced knowledge of asymmetric catalysis and synthesis.

 

Content

The main families of stereoselective and enantioselective reactions are reviewed.
