Biological functions of glycans - N- and O-glycans and their simplified representation - Introduction of the biochemistry of carbohydrate-processing enzymes - Enzymatic mechanisms of glycosidases and glycosyltransferases - Some applications of glycochemistry to immunology - Development of antiinfectious agents: the case of influenza


Teaching methods

Oral Course with powerpoint illustrations.

Evaluations

The students will have to make a bibliographic research on a topic related to Glycobiology and present it, orally in the class.
