Learning outcomes

At the end of this course, students will be able to design a clinical development for a lead compound.

Objectives

Students will be asked to design a clinical development (Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III study) for a lead compound, which has just completed pre-clinical investigations.

Content

Clinical trials are presented and discussed.

Exercises description

A case study is assigned to each group of 2 or 3 students.


Teaching methods

Flipped classroom.

Evaluations

Students will be divided in small groups (2-3) to work on a case study. This latter will be presented and discussed with a jury composed of professors in the field.
