Professional Internship [MSBMM209]

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of this internship, students will have gained a first professional experience in the field of their choice, related to their specialization, either in preclinical or in clinical research.

Objectives

This internship aims to put students in real-life situation with the ultimate goal for them to achieve successful insertion in the professional world.

Co-requisites

Master Thesis [MSBMM208]

Teaching methods

This professional internship is performed under the training supervisor. The academic coordination is taken on by Professor Gillet.

Evaluations

Students will write a mini-article in English. The manuscript, the oral presentation and the defense will be assessed by a jury composed of three researchers.

 

The training supervisor and the jury will grade the student following these guidelines:

 

  • The training supervisor (/20)
  • Jury’s member (/20):
  • Manuscript (35%)
  • Oral presentation and defense (65%)

 

Final grade: Promoter (/10) + Jury (/10).

The exact modalities of the evaluation are likely to be modified during the preparation of the examination schedules, depending on the practical constraints with which the faculty administration may be confronted, or in the event of illness / force majeure / encroachment with an internship, or because of the health situation related to the coronavirus.
