Content

Given in Italian, this course proposes a journey through Italian literature. Depending on the year, different texts or extracts of texts are analysed and commented on, in order to illustrate the historical morphology of a genre, the literary production of a century, an author or a region (the short story from its origins to the present day, the detective novel, the novel in the 19th century, the literary production of authors such as Pirandello, Verga, Manzoni, Svevo, Calvino, Sicilian authors of the 19th and 20th centuries, etc.).
