To develop specialist knowledge in areas of the historical discipline and to understand the issues of the discipline.
Know how to transcribe modern documents rigorously and identify their historical interest.
The course is essentially practical and is based on exercises with a progressively higher level of difficulty. The student will be provided with a collection of texts dating from the 16th to the 18th century. The main difficulties and characteristics of each document, as well as its historical interest, will be highlighted.
Document reading exercises of increasing difficulty and historical commentary.
Written exercise in the final exam (transcription and historical commentary).
