Objectives

At the end of the course, the student will be able to : - communicate orally a scientific work in history - to make advanced historical research accessible

Content

1) Writing a scientific paper: theoretical presentation of the principles of writing a scientific paper and their application. 2) Oral presentation: theoretical presentation of the principles of oral communication in two specific settings: the scientific conference and the audiovisual media. Application of these teachings through oral presentations based on power-points and recorded studio interviews (SAVE).


Teaching methods

Each module devoted to a type of communication of scientific knowledge is introduced by a theoretical part, sometimes developed by a professional. On the basis of this theoretical background, the student must carry out practical exercises which are then corrected by the teacher.

Evaluations

Continuous assessment based on practical exercises (written and oral).

Recommended readings

The bibliography is modified each year according to the theme.
