Objectives
The main objective of the personal project is to carry out an in-depth study related to an information system issue. Students take up a project that is offered by the professors of the Faculty of Computer Science. The project must reflect an understanding of a research problem (definition, context, motivation, research questions, etc.) and a good knowldege of the related work.
Content
The project involves:

Scientific research: problem definition, search of scientific materials, reading of a research paper.

Writing: problem formulation, document organization, writing of a related work, awareness of plagiarism.

Oral presentation: slides contents, slides organizations, oral expression.
Teaching methods
The course is a short ex-cathedra introduction on scientific methods, writing and presentation. The work is mainly done in the state-of-the-art essay.
Evaluations

25% for the a reading summary and a problematisation (in January)

50% on the written essay
-
25 % on the oral presentation
