Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student will be able to : • Explain the life cycle of an IT project. • Identify the actions to be taken as project manager during the different phases of the project. • Resolve quality issues and risks associated with the project. • Mastering methods and tools that help a project manager to carry out the project successfully.

• Project management: methods, referents, models, certifications, life cycles. • Essentials of a project cycle management method. • Risk management. • Quality management. • Time, effort and resource management. • Estimation and regression models. • Management of objectives and scope. • Role management.

• Lectures. • Labs. • Role-playing. • Simulation. • Exercises. • Handling of tools. • Real case study project by groups of students. • Student presentations.
