Objectives

The aim of the course is to present the principles, methods, protocols, technical solutions and implementation difficulties of identity and access management solutions, from an IT security perspective.

Content

Identity and access management issues
    Authentication mechanisms, standards and protocols
    Identity management models
    Access control models and language
    Identity and access management protocols and technologies

Exercises description

Implementation of a complete identity and access management solution, integrating various protocols and including the development of identity sources and Identity Provider and Service Provider components

Evaluations

Assessment is based 40% on a theoretical exam (written in 1st session, oral in 2nd session) and 60% on the project developed as part of the practical work.
