Principles of information systems security

Objectives

This A.A. enables students to understand IT security from the perspective of corporate strategy and governance.

At the end of this activity, the learner will be able to:

    Understand the strategic issues of information systems security in the company.
    Understand how security governance is implemented in companies.
    Make the link with the normative frameworks, organisation, management and security of information systems.

Content

The Principles of Security course covers the following content:

    Principles of organisation and governance
    Security policies
    Common regulatory frameworks


Teaching methods

Face-to-face lectures.  Distance learning courses will be planned.

    Course slides are available on the course's Moodle platform.
    Articles and publications (in French or English) will be available on the course Moodle platform.

Evaluations

The assessment consists of an exam with multiple-choice questions and open-ended questions.
