    Learn about psycho-pedagogical theories relating to adult education.
    Adopt a psycho-pedagogical language.
    Reread teaching/learning systems using theoretical frameworks related to adult education: learn how to analyse training systems.
    Begin to clarify the pedagogical actions carried out in higher education.

Teaching methods

The course will be adapted as far as possible to the participants' professional backgrounds. It will alternate between theoretical contributions, discussions and analysis of real-life experiences, on different training issues in education in general and higher education in particular.

Evaluations

Course assessment will vary according to the course programme in which the student is enrolled.

    For students enrolled in the "CAPAES" programme, the writing of an integrated paper will be required at the end of the course.
    For students enrolled in the Master of Nursing programme, an individual written assignment will be required at the end of the course. The assignment will provide an opportunity to take a step back from an adult learner's experience and analyse it in the light of the concepts covered in the course.
