Learning outcomes

- Ability to read a scientific paper in Economics.

- Ability to explain the paper in a pedagogic way.

Objectives

You must understand a scientific article from the economic literature whose content is structured. The goal is to learn to read a scientific article. The work required as part of the seminar is to understand the essential idea of the article, the logic of its argument, and its implications. You do not necessarily have to reproduce all the mathematical proofs, but you must perceive their relevance to the thesis of the author. You do not have to be 'comprehensive' and to repeat all that the author wrote. You must be confined to important ideas.
