Introduction

Dr Hontoir Fanny graduated from the University of Liège in 2007. She moved to France for a three-year position in small animal practise.

Since 2010, Dr. Hontoir is enrolled in research projects (focusing musculoskeletal system) and in Animal anatomy teaching, firstly at the University of Liège (2010-2011), then at the University of Namur.

In 2018, she awarded her PhD in Veterinary Sciences. Her thesis focused on imaging of structural and compositional cartialge changes associated to oasteoarthritis in the ovine knee. 

In 2020, she awarded a FNRS post-doctoral fellowship. Her post-doct project focuses on the assessement of changes in small nucleolar RNA (snoRNAs) expression patterns in the ovine joint tissue, with ageing and osteoarthritis.
