Forum universitaire pour la coopération internationale au développement (FUCID)

FUCID is the NGO in FUNDP concerned with the development and the North-South relations. It aims to promote the awarness of the developing countries realities in the fields of education and research.

FUCID aims to:

• improve information about development (Via its newsletter available on request, its documentation centre open from Monday to Thursday, its presence in the university library, many seminars and conferences such the "Midis de la FUCID" ...);
• support contacts with people from the South (through travel or exchange trips, support to project missions ...);
• promote the integration, in lectures and researches, of the knowledge acquired by FUNDP staff members in the field of development (Via "les cours Métis");
• encourage student involvement, activities or projects related to the South (Via formation, projects, advocacy ...).
