group "Bioethics at Université de Namur" (CBUN)

The CIDES is an interdisciplinary center in bioethics and ethics of health care combining the scientific, legal and ethical perspectives. It has three main objectives : - Provding health care professionals (doctors, nurses, paramedics, etc)ethical guidlines about their practice - Providing students in science and medecine theoritical and practical tools to build a strong ethical reflection - Helping the general public to think to the major ethical issues raised by advances in biotechnology, in particular those with applications in health care.
